A Black Silk Slip With Large Mirrored Lenses
I have a new goal, and that goal is to take more photos of the outfits I pack for my tropical vacation — not just the bikinis. Listen, I totally get wanting to master that perfect swimsuit shot on the sand in front of the sunset at golden hour. That's the pic I go for nine times out of 10. But how psyched am I to wear that new slip dress and those embellished slides out to dinner when beach time is over? Very psyched. So why aren't I sharing these looks with my followers instead?
I spent time browsing the feeds of celebrities, editors, and bloggers with an eye for style, and it seems like we're all on the same page. It's true that most women are concerned with showing off the new maillots they invested in as they prepared for the season, rather than their cute maxis.
But I have to say that when I do spot a romantic slip dress sans shoes, that makes me stop in my tracks. I appreciate the smartly paired caftans and ruffled high-waist bottoms. I like it when beach ensembles are taken to the next level, and I want to inspire us all to really go there. So, the next time you set out for the day planning on capturing your suit, think about layering on these cover-ups to make all the difference. I highly doubt you'll regret it.
