Vera Wang Still Looking for a Reality Show Outlet

>> Last October, Vera Wang experienced quite the upheaval — both her SVP of worldwide marketing and communications and president of creative direction resigned.  The same month, she also announced her intentions to do a television show, leading many to believe the executives just didn't want to see their faces on prime time.

There hasn't been much news on making headway since, but Wang is not letting her reality show idea — about her fashion house and her surrounding life — lie fallow. WWD reports that the concept has been pitched to several production companies and networks, and Wang has even considered doing production in-house. Through a spokeswoman, the designer noted, "We have been pitched and pitched television. While I adore TV, it has to be a project that I feel is authentic and relevant.”
