Prior to her runway show during New York Fashion Week earlier this year, Victoria Beckham [1] declared the death of high heels [2] . . . at least for herself, that is. The fashion designer described feeling more like her "real" self while sporting sneakers and flats. This season, however, Victoria is (begrudgingly) back to wearing heels.

At a recent appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers, Victoria wore a matching orange set from her namesake label and strappy navy heels. The shoe style was, in fact, a big topic of conversation during her interview. At one point, Victoria proudly notes that her daughter, Harper Seven, has mastered running in high heels [3] — at which point Seth questions the utility of such a skill.

In another clip, Victoria shares a recent regret: wearing heels to a parent-child sports day at her children's school. Because the parents were asked to race one another, hilarity obviously ensued. Watch her retelling of the story above, then check out her splashy outfit.
