Back of Fab Ad: Givenchy Fall/Winter '09 Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci feels "It’s important to give reality to women," hence why he's decided to take a more realistic approach to his Fall/Winter '09 ad campaign. "I wanted to give this feeling of going from a studio to reality." To be precise, this reality is set inside a gilded bedroom in the Château de Ferrières. A not-so-obvious change: He's gone from using photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin for nine seasons to Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Also unlike the past, the ad uses color photography and features new models — his favorite, Mariacarla Boscono is still in the mix but the most surprising addition is Victoria's Secret model Adriana Lima. I agree with db849, it is very "fantasy", very "fake". And that's why I like it. :P But it has nothing to do with reality. What is that naked woman doing there? They are lesbian? Well, I don't like that pic with the naked woman. satoriv 8 years Adriana Lima for Givenchy? db849 8 years Not nice at all. And, quite honestly- this is as far from reality as it can get.
