I remember when I was in middleschool, every time I would get sick, my mom would buy me a 17 magazine to read while I recovered(and there was ALWAYS Vogue around the house). But I was never able to express my style the way I wanted to in those early years because there were never any good shops around where I lived. But now that I am an adult I can buy whatever I want! And I can thank my mom for my Vogue and Elle addiction.

I started paying attention to what's was fashionable in junior high, however my budget was a -$0. , so I had to do the best with what my Mom made for me or my aunts hand me downs, it wasn't the latest fashion but it was a style all my own, something I still go by forget the trends it's about what I like

Since I'm in college I can't really afford fashionable clothes, but that doesn't mean I don't love looking at things I could never dream of owning!

before i can remember... my dad was a suit salesman before he became a consuler, and he always shared things with me that i came to love and enjoy. like the certain cuts and style of clothes, he explained the differnt fabrics and textiles, and pointed out all the markings and hallmarks of well made itailian imported shoes! :)

My mom influenced me greatly. She has a very bold style and LOVES vintage items. I grew up reading my mom's fashion magazines. I remember being so excited when the trilogy came in the mail: Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and Mademoiselle. Growing up with those magazines definitely helped refine my fashion sense. After college, in med school is when I really took off and never looked back since. I had opportunities to wear heels and LV purses as much as I wanted (in college not that practical).

Does birth count!!! Haha, yeah I was always into what I wore even in Nursery school and before that probably!

I was fashion crazy from a very early age. My mother and I would have such arguments when she took me shopping for school clothes every year. When I was seven or eight I insisted that everything for that year be black because "it's so classy."

around 3 and I have a video tape to prove it! My mum was trying to make me wear a dress I didn't like so I just screamed my head off...I still do it if she's trying to make me wear something!

I've always cared about clothes, but I didn't get good at putting it all together until my sophomore year in college. I went to a very fashion conscience school.

I have always really loved fashion but I couldn't really do anything but admire until I got into college and had some extra spending cash. I love love love Harajuku Lovers and Heatherette which I buy exclusively at this awesome boutique in Camas, WA called Le Reve. Loves it.

I have been reading Vogue since i was 8 years old. I remember wanting my outfits to look like the fashion models and being soooo upset that i couldn't find them in stores! I was such a diva...LOL :)

I was a t-shirt, jeans, and sneakers girl until I left college, when I became a v-neck 3/4 sleeve blouse, jeans and mary janes girl. I don't do "fashion", but I think it's interesting to look at. Just like Picasso- I wouldn't wear it, but I like to look. Am I boring?! LOL.

I have always loved drawing, looking and reading about fashion, but I started to really study it and use it for myself when I got into college. Oddly and sadly enough, I lost all of my baby weight and got super excited about wearing it!

4th Grade! my mother was a seamstress who worked for now defunct Terrific company that made hideous sweatshirts with crazy colors. I had a shirt that had a yellow sun on the shoulder and the rays were diagonally multicolor swatches. I was taunted by my classmates. Finally, my mom went to work for BYER, CA and I was so happy when i got my first cool shirt with geometric print with a side sash tie! I was in fashion since Byer is a jrs. fashion company! :)

While it didn't always come out right, I started when I was little little. I cared about my outfits and my shoes. I loved wearing skirts and my little patent leather shoes as a kid. I loved playing dress up in my Mom's clothes and accessories. I loved dressing up my Barbies and other dolls. I remember stripping them and putting a shirt that came on one doll with shorts from another. It's in my blood!

My mom sewed my warddrobe when I was a baby/little girl. She always made sure I had the most stylish outfits and matching tams. (Granted, this was 1960's/early 70's.). I was the best dressed little girl. I'm thinking.. even better than SURI!!

Before I could remember- as a very little girl I was obsessed with wearing dresses and shoes that "made noise when I walked". By 8 I was sketching designs for clothes and I became more and more obsessed with fashion.
