I DID meet Anna Wintour last year at Paris Couture Fashion week and it was like an out of body Fashion TV moment! She was very sweet and allowed me to take a picture of her. She even smiled! I went to Fashion week again this year and didnt get to run into her but that picture is worth a thousand words!

i would probably have a slight breathing malfunction if i saw her, so even if i had the courage to say something to her(which i wouldn't), talking would not be possible. but i would defintley stare, that i know i would do. oh yes, and mentally catalog everything she was wearing.

Trip her with my $15 Payless shoes and run away. Really, I'd just ignore her. I'm sure she gets enough people staring and approaching her, and I wouldn't want her insulting my non-Chanel clothes anyway.

I would try to see if I could talk to her - I mean it is a once in a lifetime moment - No regrets baby!

I actually have met her! I was in a restaurant in NYC (visiting the city for work, I live in Dallas) and she came in. It's a pretty low key restaurant, but a lot of local celebs go there (Michael Bloomberg was there at another table, too). I've seen plenty of celebs before but never cared to go up to them. I was so nervous, but I admire her so much that I had to go up to her. I waited til her date went to the restroom, before their food was served. I went up to her and apologized for interrupting her, but told her how much I admired her and her work, and that she is the reason I work in fashion today. She could not have been more cordial. She shook my hand and asked me what I did and where I lived. I went back to the table, and resumed my dinner with my co-workers. I couldn't believe I had the guts to go up to her. And when Anna left, she walked past me (we were close to the door) and she said "Good Evening". I nearly died! Anyway, I think that the whole "Devil" thing is so overrated. If she were a man, she wouldn't be criticized.

I probably wouldn't care. LA is stocked with powerful people that I'm pretty much jaded.

I wouldn't go up and talk to her, but I'd probably follow her around just to see where she went --- total stalker!!

I *love* how unapologetically powerful this woman is. Fabulous. I doubt I'd have the nerve to talk to her, but just to be around her would be a trip--especially if Andre Leon Talley is there.

I would walk past her. She looks so boring all the time, she probably wouldn't even stand out to me.

I would so say something to her, she feeds off of people being intimidated by her...wouldn't give anyone like that the satisfaction.

I was in the elevator with her once when I worked at Conde Nast. It's funny, I was looking down at the time and could tell it was her just by her shoes and purse. She's completely unapproachable. You really won't want to make eye contact or speak to her out of nowhere.

I actually did see her once - leaving the Chanel store on 57th between Madison and 5th very early (around 8 AM) on a weekday morning. I was very pregnant at the time and not looking my best, so I didn't say a word to her. But she was all decked out in Chanel and walked down the street as if it beloged to her (checking herself out in the reflection of the store windows).

I would neither try to talk to her nor take her picture, but I would probably stare at her for a while!

Short of thumbing my nose, I'd adjust the sunglasses. Give her a Cosmo hair flip and move on. Do you really think she deserves any better?
