saddle shoes and white bobby socks. Some may find them ugly but I love them and they are so comfy.

Wow ~ it's interesting to see how PASSIONATE people are about shoes. I personally own a pair of Uggs and I think they're cute and they're the warmest most comfortable shoes I own. My daughter owns a pair of purple maryjane crocs and they're her favorite shoes bec they're so comfy. She's been urging me to get a pair. I agree with Romania girl that it's mean and rude to say people need "help" for liking a certain style of shoe. Fashion is personal and shouldn't be based on popular public opinion.

I had a pair of black Doc Martens in high school and a pair of Birkenstocks. I still have a pair of Birkenstocks, they last a long time. I have also worn Tevas in elementary school...everyone had a pair. It was a private school and we did a lot of hiking and out door activities.

Where are flip-flops at on the list? I've never understood why they're so popular. They're tacky and usually dirty looking and you can hear somebody wearing them coming from half a mile away.

Uggs are only worn by me for comfort and warmness!

I have worn almost all of these at some point in my life. Well not wooden clogs but all the others.

Uggs are my main offender, Crocs come in second, and I have Teva Flip Flops but they aren't the ugly type.

Uggs are so overrated. I'd understand wearing them if you live in a very cold climate where you have extreme winters, but many people wear them because they're expensive and will somehow make you cool.

I happen to LIKE UGGS!

I loooove my Uggs & don't care how out they are they are warm & feet are always freezing!! I just bought a pair of Burburry moon boots & think they might in fact be uglier than Uggs! LOL!! I wore Doc Martens back in the late 90's when they were cool back in the whole college grunge phase...God, I feel OLD. 33 seems really old. Waaah!!!

I'm proud to say I don't wear any of this crap. I guess if i lived in a snowy area I might Have to were Uggs. But luckily I don't.

As some might feel about their Uggs... I'm totally offended that Docs even made this list... Docs are freakin' classics.. They are THE British boot, I can't believe people who value authentic and classic and cherished labels would deem these ugly... They were an early 90s staple among other times... My point is made with this: UGLY FLANNEL/PLAD IS OKAY TO BE BACK IN STYLE AND IS "NOT UGLY" BUT CLASSIC LEATHER BOOTS ARE NOT (WHEN THIS SITE IS TOUTING FLAT BOOTS ALL OVER THE PLACE RIGHT NOW??????):MOB:

I don't think Capezios are ugly. I wore them in the early 80's because Talking Heads used to wear them :-)

Clark's Wallabee's aren't ugly! They're cute! But I've worn Birkenstocks and Capezio shoes...can't say they're not comfortable!

seriously I guess I am actually a multiple offender. I own birks, crocs and docs. I only wear my crocs (the other ones just sit in my closest from my hippy days) their like a slipper. I put them on when I have to run outside for something. I have also worn them to the gym if I am just doing a little yoga. I have to admit I bought them when I was pregs and looking for something I didn't have to bend down to but my fat sardines in.

I love my knee-high lace-up Docs. Everyone that grew up in the 90's would understand!

ok, ill admit it. i have a pair of naot (they are like birkenstocks) and not one - but 2 pair of uggs! and yes, i love them! i know the uggs are really ugly (i know what joke you are thinking of, dont say it.) but they are really really really warm...and you dont have to wear socks with them! what else would i wear when its snowy and freezing?! otherwise my feet freeeeze. as for the naot, i dont really wear them out of the house. ok, maybe if im running in sweats (cute ones) to a store really quickly or something.

My Docs are my joy. I even have a fabulous 4 eye bright blue pair from...oh man...maybe like 1989 or 1990...still comfortable, wearable...I mean the soles are still solid...they held up and are worth every cent. I have 4 pairs of Docs...all money ever spent on shoes. And yes, I still have my 8 eye combat boots and I still wear them when the Chicago winter is really out to get us...never have wet or cold feet ever...and I never ever slip on ice in them.

I've worn Uggs but that was when it was winter and when everyone had a pair. I only own one pair though.
