I never use umbrellas at all. They're more trouble then they're worth.

I lose them constantly, there's no way I'd spend more than $10-15. I once had an adorable little houndstooth one, and I lose it almost immediately.

thanks AKristin on the name drop for a umbrella. I have been looking for one for 2 months and havent been able to find anything that makes me happy. I wish I could buy a cheap-o umbrella ella ella a a a(sorry couldnt help myself curse u rhianna!!!) but those last maybe a day. So it actaully comes out cheaper for me to spend more when it will actually last me more than one use.

I would if they didn't break so easily! Boston is absolutely brutal on umbrellas.

I purchased one from Burberry this past fall... It's pretty badass. It is black with tons of pyramid studs.

no way!! umbrellas and gloves are so easy to lose ;)

The last umbrella I bought was $14 in a hotel gift shop, and it's still holding up. Living in the desert, I don't really need an umbrella, although I did buy a Burberry rain coat, go figure.

I love my big burberry umbrella, although it always just sits in the car.

PS: I should probably also mention that rain is my absolute favourite weather, and I have never been tired of it. So it makes sense that I would find a symbol of that love romantic. ;)

Absolutely! Umbrellas are such beautiful, romantic things. Has anyone here seen The Umbrellas of Cherbourg, with a very young Catherine Deneuve? Oh, so dreamy. They have always been a weakness for me, along with hats and gloves. I never had a real reason to buy myself a nice one until last year though, when I gave up driving. I spent a long time trolling the internet to find one just right, and it came from The handle is my favourite part: it's white leather with bright red stitching. There are many items I go budget on, but this was completely worth the money I spent on it. *swoon* Umbrellas, shoes, bags, purses, hats and old fashioned bicycles! :D

I said no because I wouldn't pay a lot for it. That being said, I do own a Nicole Miller one, but only because I found it at Winners for about $8!

No I think it's a complete waste, who would ever spend over $10 on an umbrella??!!

I also have a Coach umbrella. I covet a Louis Vuitton, but it's just too expensive for an umbrella.

I have a Coach one that was close to $100, but it was given to me as a gift. I personally wouldn't spend that much money on an umbrella because I hardly ever use them.

They break too easy.

I already have three. I have these gorgeous hand silkscreened umbrellas that I love to use. They were over a $100 each and I have had the oldest for 7 years. I love them because they are unique and they brightened a dark and deary rainy day, plus they are real attention getters in a world of cheap black umbrellas.

I already have (although my notion of 'expensive' is probably different from yours ;-) ), because all of the cheaper ones broke in the first wind. Ironically, I don't really use it, although it rains a lot where I live, because I have a water-proof jacket and I'm too lazy to carry an umbrella when it doesn't rain too much. But at least it's pretty. And if it still rains in spring, I'll use it then.

I really wouldn't. In Barcelona it never rains, so that would be pretty stupid. But if I lived in London for instance, maybe I would.
