I'm currently a journalism major with a focus on magazines. This would be my dream job. Not sure how much I know about fashion, but working in the type of environment is what I plan to achieve one day.

My goal is to work for a magazine like Vogue. I'd probably prefer to be a writer though, it's something I've always loved. But I really love fashion and I don't see a place for me in the fashion world aside from writing about it, maybe setting a few trends on the pages of it.. I want more than anything to be a part of it.

it's kinda like I work there now. I get fired about 10 times a week and I'm still here. Last weeka t a conference I was fired in front of a group of 65 in a lecture i was at attending with my boss. Andy is a lucky girl. "I love my job"

I would love a job like that and I would work hard to get an editor job. That is my dream! I wouldn't kill for it though...

Does 'The Devil Wears Prada' ring any bells? No thanks! haha

I'm not into the cut-throated, backstabbing stress of something like that.

Nope. I prefer to read the mags/books and just dress myself.

Absolutely, in a heartbeat. The working my ass off would be awesome in comparison. Though I know I couldn't handle that crappy of a salary, but I'd figure it out.

Listen up out there I work in Fashion and it is not all that it is cracked up to be . What you see LC doing is pretty mush it. You a just a glorified grunt that runs errands and sets at you desk.

I'm not comfortable with the picture up for this one. If we could cut it off before the nudity, that would be appreciated...

hmm..."other".. while I LOVE fashion and reading about it and wearing it...I don't think I could do a job like LC's or anything. That world is just too cutthroat and bitchy. If I DID have a chance to get into the industry though, it would most definitely have to be for some sort of layout editor position (I LOVE designing magazine layouts and I have a great eye for artsy things...) I would DIE if that fashion opportunity ever came to me =X

Maybe...I would love it...but I don't want to have to give up everything I have now too... I liek my life and what I have now.

I would absolutely do anything for a job in the fashion industry...no matter what it was. The problem is that I don't live anywhere near New York City, LA, Paris, or any of the other 'hubs' of the industry, so its probably not going to happen.

No. Effin. Way. I worked for six months in the marketing department of a national women's retail chain. It was a horrible chain with ugly clothing that nobody I knew would ever wear, and even that place was horribly cutthroat. It was just a bunch of backstabbing, bitchy women trying to get ahead. I love fashion, but for me it's more of a hobby. I wouldn't want it to be my career unless I could do it alone or with a few close friends.

Yes I want Andy's job sooooooo bad. I would rock the socks off the fashion industry! (so to speak)

"other." not sure here...if something made me think twice, i'd probably think better of it. but if someone put a gun to my head and said, "decide now! 5...4...3..." i'd probably take it and regret it later.
