We may enjoy seeing slightly absurd, nearly naked designs make their way down the runway, but at the end of the day, our thoughts are pretty much the same: "Well, where the heck are we going to wear that?" Thankfully, we didn't have to worry when it came to Zac Posen's Spring '17 collection. Even before we saw a single piece, we assumed the designer would stick to his typical classic aesthetic [1], something he'd hinted at on Instagram [2] mere hours before. This time around, designs were elegant, modest, and completely wearable, making it easy to envision them everywhere from an office to a formal event.

Zac chose to stick with old, always-in-style favorites, such as structured shirtdresses and glamorous strapless gowns, but gave things a modern twist thanks to hints of metallics, vibrant colors, and eye-catching prints. Plus, we love how he shook up simple suits and sets; sometimes, an asymmetrical skort or moto jacket is all the "edgy" you need!
