Zoe Saldana at 2010 Oscars 2010-03-07 15:55:11

2010 Oscars: Zoe Saldana

Avatar star Zoe Saldana arrived at the Oscars looking absolutely divine in a frothy lavender ruffled gown by Givenchy. I love how the gold beaded bodice adds extra shimmer, while light-to-dark tiers add the ultimate feminine touch. For adornments, the actress donned a statement ring and silver earrings. Utterly amazing — do you agree? Vote on all of my Oscar polls here!

I can't believe people hate this dress! I posted it as one of the red carpet's all time best looks http://thecloseteditor.onsugar.com/Best-Worst-Red-Carpet-9061298

I love the top, but it looks like someone stapled a skinned muppet to the bottom of her dress.

I love it so much. yes it's got a lot going on, yes some parts of it might look silly on their own - but I can't imagine anyone seeing zoe saldana in this and not thinking she looks spectacular!

Like it a lot from the knees up - love the make up, but the knees down looks horrible.

This dress reminds me of the scene in "Sleeping Beauty" where the fairies keep changing Princess Aurora's dress...it looks like no one won here.

the idea is cute the the color is gorgeous, but the way they did the layered bottom...it should flow together instead of having distinctive tiers :(

Top doesn't match the bottom and I don't care for either part separately

Too much going on! I wish the colors blended into each other more, not just "pow! lavender, pow! purple, pow!black." She's done better

I hate it when beautiful women wear ugly, expensive, dresses.

I agree with SweetFirefly. My mum thought it was pretty, but when she saw the bottom part, she was speechless (and not in a good way).

"one eyed, one horned, flying, purple people eater." does anyone else remember that song?" :rotfl: I like her ring but that's it.

Is it bad to say I like it but it also reminds me of the pink dress Diane Kruger wore recently. Same poufy ruffles

i agree w/ spacebear too. the top is gorgeous but the bottom is awful. all together it is just a major NO.
