Anne Hathaway Is Making Corset Puffers the Next Big Coat Trend

Anne Hathaway [1]'s Sundance style is unmatched. The actor cozied up in head-to-toe Versace for the film festival premiere of her new thriller "Eileen" in Park City, UT, on Jan. 21. The real star of Hathaway's look was her black corset-style puffer jacket — the epitome of fashionable and functional winter outerwear [2]. Selected from Versace's fall 2022 collection by stylist Erin Walsh [3], the coat cinched in at the waist, creating a structured silhouette that's a refreshing change from the many shapeless winter coats on the market.

Hathaway peeled back the puffer to reveal a matching tweed minidress hiding underneath — one with a studded hemline, hardware-accented straps, and a mesh corset only visible from the back.
