Anya Taylor-Joy's latest press tour is the fashionable gift that keeps on giving. While promoting her new film "The Menu [1]" on "The Tonight Show" on Nov. 16, the actor showed an edgier side to her style in a straight-off-the-runway look from Schiaparelli's spring 2023 collection [2].
Her gold satin corset top [3] was a glamorous take on the trend, with classic boned detailing and twisted cone-shaped cups à la Madonna [4] in the '90s. It cinched in at the waist with a thick black belt featuring a gold buckle and several attached charms, including a golden pierced ear. On the bottom, she wore pleated black cigarette pants with metallic buttons up the front.
The true highlight of Taylor-Joy's outfit, however, was her extreme espadrille wedges, which featured a towering platform that curved inward before sloping back out at the sole. They were also accented with a strip of gold over the tips that were designed to mimic toes.
