A$AP Rocky Honored Rihanna in a Custom Jacket at the Super Bowl

No one was more excited for Rihanna's halftime show than A$AP Rocky. As the multihyphenate revealed her second pregnancy to the world during her electrifying performance on Feb. 12, the rapper was seen cheering and dancing along in an outfit that paid tribute to his love.

Designed by celebrity designer Jeff Hamilton, Rocky's patriotic jacket featured the stars and stripes of the American flag and the NFL logo across the front, while the back showcased an illustration of Rihanna's hand holding a football against a backdrop of the city. The art replicated the same tattoos she has on her hand in real life. The new dad kept the rest of his ensemble simple, wearing a white tank top and baggy cargo pants with a diamond statement belt. He further accessorized with a Fenty baseball cap, an American-flag bandana, and stacks of studded cross necklaces.

Rocky has previously worn creations by Hamilton, who's custom-made jackets for athletes and stars like Kobe Bryant, The Weeknd, Drake, and LeBron James. Hamilton's one-of-a-kind outerwear can cost anywhere from $850 to $6,000, though custom pieces are likely sold at a higher price point.

The rapper's outfit wasn't the only one that held significance at the Super Bowl. Though Rihanna began her set in a cropped leather Alaïa coat and matching gloves, she finished the halftime show wearing a longer version of the coat, honoring the late fashion icon André Leon Talley. Talley, who died at age 73 in January 2022, was known for his blanket coats, particularly one red puffer style by Norma Kamali.
