The 2021 BAFTA Film Awards [1] red carpet looked a little different this year, with our favorite celebrities' fashion choices coming from the red carpet and at-home, virtual photo shoots. Hosted by Edith Bowman and Dermot O'Leary, the presenters and nominees [2] throughout the evening had us buzzing to get dressed up again by giving glimpses of sartorial selections that ranged from shimmering dresses to smart suits.

Opening the red carpet was a lot of Louis Vuitton. Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Phoebe Dynevor [3], and Cynthia Erivo all wore stunning designs by the brand's creative director Nicolas Ghesquière. We also noticed a few standout trends like metallic and sparkling, silver and gold dresses worn by Mbatha-Raw and Erivo; fringed details on Clara Amfo's black suit, Sophie Cookson's Girgio Armani shoulder pads; and on the hemline of Celeste's vintage-inspired green dress.
