Cardi B Wears a Knit Cutout Catsuit in Her Vogue Cover Story

Styled by celebrity image architect Law Roach [2], the 29-year-old rapper and mom of two graced the cover of Vogue Singapore's "Ablaze" issue [3], wearing a decidedly cozy Thom Browne look from the fall 2022 ready-to-wear collection. The intricate ensemble was built into a teddy-bear silhouette and involved a giant patchwork coat with prominent, tightly layered yarn loops, thrown over a knee-length knit skirt. Her finishing accessories included a balaclava-style beanie with teddy-bear ears and tall, lace-up platform boots in black and white, as well as a set of Clash de Cartier rings and bracelet.

The Grammy-winning artist opened up to Vogue Singapore editor Amelia Chia [4] about her path to fame, touching on everything from her childhood and upbringing in the Bronx to the hustle that led to her rise as a cultural icon. Cardi also discussed becoming a mother — including the challenges of raising her children, Kulture Kiari Cephus [5] and Wave Set Cephus [6] — and the values she hopes to instill in them, especially the importance of hard work. "Even though my kids are well-off, I want them to know that when you work for things and achieve it, it's more respected — especially when people see that you bust your ass for it," she told the magazine.
