We couldn't help but zoom all the way in on the massive sparkler when Demi and Max confirmed their engagement on Wednesday by posting a series of professional beachside pictures snapped by photographer Angelo Kritikos.

The ring features three diamonds — a rectangular, emerald-cut one in the center that nearly takes up the width of her entire finger, nestled between two smaller (but, let's be real, still huge) trapezoid-shaped diamonds on either side — and has a simple band. It was designed by celebrity jewelry Peter Marco. Demi dressed like a true bride-to-be for the special occasion, wearing a ruched white dress by Retrofête with long sleeves and statement diamond earrings by Established.
