After winning many hearts in her embellished Miu Miu coat [2] during last month's presidential inauguration, Ella has proven that she's a style star in the making [3]. She's even signed a modeling contract with IMG [4]! If you take a look at her Instagram account, you'll notice that the vice president's step-daughter is a fan of knitting. Ella, who currently studies at Parsons School of Design in NYC, announced a knit raffle on her Instagram page [5] and stated that proceeds will be going toward For The Gworls [6] and The Okra Project [7], which both support the Black trans community.
If you're wondering how you can win a pair of either a custom striped style or colorblock knit pants, you have to pay $10 to enter the raffle. Then, you email your donation receipt to knitraffleentries@gmail.com with your Instagram handle in the subject line. The winner will be chosen on Friday, Feb. 12, so apply while you can.
