Kate Middleton's Favorite Blazer Is Coming in the Most Unexpected Color For Fall
We know the pieces Kate Middleton loves to wear, and one of the items is a blazer (appropriately named the "Duchess") from Canadian label Smythe. Kate has worn her navy blue blazer on several occasions throughout the years and even has a second one in army green. It's the one piece that continues to pop up in her wardrobe given its sophisticated qualities. While the colors Kate owns so far are subdued, Smythe is releasing a brand new hue in October.
The brand partnered with Rethink Breast Cancer to create a limited-edition pink "Duchess" blazer for its pre-Spring 2018 collection. We already know Kate looks good in every color, including millennial pink, so we won't be surprised if the royal scoops up this new blazer too. It's an unexpected color for Fall, but perfect for supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Read on to see all the times Kate's rocked the "Duchess," and then preorder the pink version for yourself.
She paired the same blazer with a Ralph Lauren striped shirt and jeans for the SportsAid workshop at the Olympic Park in 2013.
The Smythe piece made another appearance in 2014 at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland. Kate wore it over her cobalt blue dress.
The Duchess of Cambridge likes the blazer so much, she also owns it in an army green color. She wore this one in 2016 to visit the Haida Heritage Centre and Museum.
