Kendall Jenner Found the 2018 Way to Button Your Jean Jacket

The way you wear your denim jacket is about to change forever, and it's partly thanks to Kendall Jenner. When the model stepped out yesterday wearing a Canadian tuxedo, we immediately noticed the way she buttoned her jacket. It seemed she had misaligned a few holes, transforming the traditional jean jacket into an asymmetrical style, with one side slightly longer than the other.

Kendall let the piece own the spotlight by wearing plain pointy-toe black boots with her denim-on-denim look. Though the star hasn't revealed where she got her outerwear — we suspect it might be this Balenciaga number — it won't be long before more retailers (Zara, we're patiently waiting) offer this deconstructed style. Heading into Fall, consider this the new way to button your jean jacket.
