Meghan's First Royal Tour Look Is Ethical, Affordable . . . and Totally Sold Out!

The royal tour of Southern Africa has begun, and Meghan is already making waves with her wardrobe choices. On her first royal engagement, the duchess stepped out in a black and white printed cotton wrap dress, and the breezy style was such an instant hit with royal fans that it's already completely sold out.

Meghan's Dalitso Maxi Wrap Dress dress comes from ethical fashion label Mayamiko, which sources fabrics in Malawi (one of the stops on the royal tour) and produces the garments in local workshops. All the dresses carry a QR code, which can be scanned "to meet the team who made your clothes," but they still come with an affordable price tag: Meghan's dress costs less than $90. This particular style is available in a number of prints, but unsurprisingly, the "Meghan effect" means all the current stock has sold out. However, if you want a piece of royal style, there are plenty of similar pieces on offer that will help you to support the label's ethical and environmentally conscious efforts.

Meghan teamed her very appropriate dress with her black Castañer espadrilles, which she also packed for her last royal tour, along with a beaded "Justice" bracelet. Keep reading for a closer look at what we hope is the first of many memorable royal tour ensembles!
