Victoria Beckham Designed Nicola Peltz's Engagement Dress — Is a Wedding Gown on the Horizon?

Victoria Beckham didn't just send her well wishes to her son, Brooklyn, and his new fiancée, actress Nicola Peltz — she also designed Nicola's engagement dress. The newly engaged couple spent time spreading the love with family over the weekend, and Nicola chose her mother-in-law's spring 2020 pastel-yellow midi, which hit the runway in all its glory and is now on sale for $980. It's made from a silk georgette fabric and has ruffles cascading down the neckline, at the waist, and all along the back of the dress, though we couldn't see that from the pictures the Beckham family posted.

Brooklyn and Nicola did share some adorable snaps of Nicola on Brooklyn's back, but by that time in the day, Nicola had covered up with a cozy wool sweater. Nicola accessorized the VB number with her gorgeous new engagement ring from Brooklyn and neutral, bow-knot leather platform sandals. While the Victoria Beckham design certainly is gorgeous, it sits at a pretty high price point, so we shopped out some similar, more affordable options after the jump if you like the style for your summer wardrobe. Only time will tell if Victoria will also have the honor of creating Nicola's eventual wedding gown, but something tells us the outlook is good.
