OK, Now We're Convinced Kate and Meghan Text Each Other About Their Outfits

Meghan Markle wasn't the only duchess to step out on Wednesday in a burgundy outfit. A few hours after Meghan visited the Hubb Community Kitchen in West London, her sister-in-law Kate Middleton made an appearance a few miles away, at University College London, as part of her ongoing work concerning early intervention.

For the occasion, Kate once again pulled out an old faithful, choosing a Paule Ka suit that she first wore in 2012 (seriously, how big is her closet, and does she ever throw anything out?). We last saw the double-breasted jacket and A-line skirt in 2017, when she styled the suit with a turtleneck sweater and knee-high boots. This time around, she kept the turtleneck but swapped the boots for a pair of block-heeled pumps.

The dark red outfit was the perfect match for the look Meghan wore earlier in the day. The double duchesses also accessorized in an eerily similar way: both wore thick black tights (well, it is 40 degrees in London right now) and chose velvet textures for added detail: Meghan's dress had a velvet collar, while Kate wore a pretty (and very on-trend) velvet ribbon in her hair.
