Tips For Selling on Poshmark
Regina Barbour recently became a full-time Poshmark seller after joining Poshmark two-and-a-half years ago. For beginners, she recommends being active on the app. "If you list something, you'll need to check in almost daily, not a week or two later," she said, noting the importance of responding to comments, sharing items in your closet, following new followers, and shopping other closets. "Your momentum will build, and you'll start making sales in no time!"
Regina also suggested spending extra time on cover photos for each item listed. "I love modeling my clothes or doing flat lays for accessories," she said. "You can get a lot of inspiration on Instagram or Pinterest, and there are things you already have at home to use as props. Flowers or a faux plant, a hat (my Lack of Color hat has been my go-to flat-lay prop), a magazine, jewelry (I love using gold hoops or dainty necklaces), sunglasses, or a cute rug can all be used to get a Pinterest-perfect flat lay."
