Gigi Hadid is offering some clever styling inspiration ahead of swimsuit season. On May 23, the model celebrated the launch of her Frankies Bikinis collaboration at the brand's store in New York City, wearing one of the pieces she designed herself. She incorporated the Fawn swimsuit — a floral blue-and-white one-piece adorned with dainty motifs of deer, fawns, and tree stumps — into a chic nighttime outfit, effortlessly pulling off swimwear as outerwear.

Hadid wore the ruffle-trim maillot as a bodysuit, teaming it with low-rise trousers in a khaki shade and a micro-cropped button-down on top. For accessories, she added cream-colored slingback heels, a bright-blue Louis Vuitton clutch, and layers of crystal necklaces. The new mom previously shared the cottagecore print was inspired by her journey as a mother to her daughter, Khai, who's now almost 2 years old.

Hadid first launched her collection on May 11, and a second drop will follow on May 25. She partnered with her longtime friend and Frankies Bikinis founder Francesca Aiello to design and release the nostalgic, Americana-inspired line full of inspiration from Hadid's Pennsylvania family home and their early friendship. "Francesca and Gigi grew up together, spending summer days and afternoons after school on the sandy beaches of Malibu," the brand stated in a press release. "Coming together 10 years later to design a collection of swimsuits and loungewear is a full circle moment for the both of them."
