Simone Ashley and Charithra Chandran [1] don't need 19th-century diamonds and lace [2] to make an entrance. On Tuesday, the onscreen sisters arrived at the "Bridgerton [3]" season two world premiere in London in black and white looks that were anything but boring.
Ashley strutted down the red carpet in a pair of patent leather sandals and Look 13 from Gucci's spring/summer 2022 collection. The two-piece dress featured a sheer black floral skirt [4] with a pleated hem and black shorts underneath. The dramatic neckline of her white crop top flared out into a miniature cape, drawing the eyes to her full-coverage lace gloves and matching fishnet tights.
Chandran went with a similar color palette in a polka-dot Carolina Herrera gown adorned in a bright-red floral pattern. The sleeveless dress featured a ruffled bodice and statement sleeves that fluttered out into a massive train. Chandran tied the look together with a cherry-red lip and Christian Louboutin Loubiloo sandals in black.
