Simone Biles celebrated the holidays in a series of festive looks. Posing in a mirror selfie shared on Dec. 25, the decorated gymnast [1] kicked off Christmas Eve in a striking, emerald-green velvet dress. From PrettyLittleThing, the figure-hugging minidress came embellished with dramatic ruffles along the off-the-shoulder neckline. As Biles wrote in her caption, "let's hear some commotion for the dress." She jazzed up the piece with minimal accessories, only wearing silver bracelets, a necklace, and rings, in addition to her massive, oval-shaped engagement ring from Jonathan Owens [2].
While she chose a glamorous look for the night prior, on Christmas Day, the 25-year-old athlete opted for a cozy, coordinated outfit with her fiancé [3]. In a series of loved-up photos with Owens, the two lounged on the couch in front of a beautifully adorned Christmas tree, wearing matching fleece pajamas from Skims as well as Ugg boots. The pair appeared comfortable as ever in the ultra-soft, checkered sleepwear.
Though the holiday just passed, Biles and Owens have been in the spirit for quite some time now. The couple staged a "cocktails at home" theme for a holiday photo shoot [4] earlier this month. Biles wore a cherry-red silk minidress accessorized with a red wide-brim hat, while Owens sported casual winter whites. In November, they also shared a glimpse at their adorable engagement shoot [5], in which they matched in classic white tees and ripped denim. We can certainly expect more couple style moments to come ahead of their wedding in 2023 [6].
