7 Looks That Will Be Everywhere Next Spring

It was more of a choose-your-own-adventure kind of Fashion Week as designers rolled out their unique plans for a season unlike any other. That said, there's a lot of common ground when it comes to the looks they're putting out for spring '21. With nods to our more casual stay-at-home looks cropping up in new collections, these lineups are both a reimagining of what we've been wearing while introducing a fresh set of trends to get us excited for the months ahead. In store, we're breaking down the runways' most wearable spring clothes, the ones we're saving a special place in our closets for.

Spring 2021 Trend: Asymmetrical Hemlines

Whether the look is quirky and slightly off-kilter or more draped, like the slip dresses at Victoria Beckham, the asymmetrical hemline is making spring's assortment of dresses, tops, and skirts a little more interesting — and primed for showing off a great pair of shoes.

Spring 2021 Trend: Culottes

In spring 2020, we took a visit back to Bermuda shorts, but we like how designers are continuously evolving the pants hemline as the seasons change. Culottes are longer, looser, and particularly fitting for spring. They're roomy and comfortable if you're going to be working from your couch every now and then. Plus, the culotte hits right at the shin, so having a shoe moment is always an option — even if you're just wearing an easy pair of slides.

Spring 2021 Trend: Oversize, Boxy Button-Downs

A very good button-down is always at the top of our must have list, and the spring '21 iterations are very good, indeed. Oversize and boxy, these have that effortless appeal that's perfect for wearing with almost anything — or opting to wear all by itself.

Spring 2021 Trend: The "WFH" Bra Top

Most likely inspired by the more laid-back approach many of us have been taking to getting dressed these past few months, the "WFH" bra top is, at its core, easy dressing. But being able to add a sporty twist to sophisticated workwear staples like blazers and trousers offers a little style wink — even if wearing a bra is just a secret we're keeping to ourselves. Button up your jacket for that Zoom call, then unwind once it's over. Plus, the easier transition into your p.m. yoga outfit definitely doesn't hurt.

Spring 2021 Trend: Tunic Dressing

Channeling the ease of spring dressing, designers gave us fluid tunics layered over pants and skirts that can be worn for any occasion. Bonus: these easy pieces are also able to be worn on their own, worn as cover-ups, and left open over light layers to add dimension, giving us endless versatility.
