Spring 2022 [1] will deliver some of the boldest colors yet, from neon green to hot pink. Mood-boosting hues were so prominent on the runways [2] from New York to Paris, it felt like an invitation to add Spring color trends into our wardrobe, whether we add a pop of pink with accessories or opt for head-to-toe brights in a monochromatic blue suit.
As we emerge from the pandemic and anxiously look forward to brighter days, fashion designers are gravitating toward scarlet, sky blue, and bright fuschia hues as vibrant colors to wear this spring. David Koma [3] embraced the saturated color theme with sheer, feather-trimmed neon-sunshine gowns, while Versace [4] enlivened party attire with a sequin two-piece skirt set drenched in hot pink.
Minimalist dressers need not worry though. Designers also provided softer options like lilac and salted caramel that look just as elevated. Indeed, Chloé's Gabriela Hearst offered up a sharply tailored suit that will easily transition from daytime meetings to sunset dinners, while Jonathan Simkhai's lavender rib-knit set raised the standard for at-home lounging.
We hardly had to deliberate over the nine big winners for this spring's color trends. Ahead, feast your eyes on soft lilac, which is surprisingly sleek and offers a new perspective on purple; sunny canary yellow; moody hot pink; salted caramel; bold scarlet; mystifying sky blue; rich green; neon green; and illuminating yellow.

For anyone who's said they don't like purple, this shade, with its gray undertone and a pastel-like finish, will win you over.
