Suni Lee glammed up for her 19th birthday [2], ringing in her last year as a teen in a special little black dress [3]. On Wednesday, the Olympic gold medalist shared a glimpse at her party look [4] on Instagram. In the photos, she posed adorably in a black strapless minidress with a plunging U neckline, which she simply paired with her signature Olympic-rings necklace. "More lifeee 💞," she wrote, alongside the snaps.
The night before, Lee wore a more casual outfit for her birthday dinner, consisting of a sheer lace bodysuit tucked into straight-leg jeans. She completed the ensemble with a white YSL purse and a black leather bomber jacket. It's not often we see Lee without her leotards and track jackets, particularly during the collegiate season [5], but off the mat, the gymnast has a playful yet sporty sense of style.
Every now and then, Lee, who recently launched a new activewear collection with PrettyLittleThing [6], swaps out her athleisure for a special event. At the 2021 Sports Illustrated Awards in December, Lee wore a black dress [7] from Haleia embellished with an oversize red flower appliqué as she was honored as athlete of the year [8]. Back in September, while promoting "Dancing With the Stars," she also sported a fun, bright-pink dress [9] with an open back and giant bow from Rebecca Vallance.
