Tierra Whack [1], the rapper and R&B singer who's given us the hit album Whack World, is partnering with household brand Vans [2] to create an exciting collection of cool sneakers and apparel designed in collaboration with longtime stylist Shirley Kurata [3].
The American artist, who's also known for dressing outside the lines [4], is bringing her unique vision and creativity to life in a curated edit of 1980s-inspired styles with key elements of the Vans brand heritage. "It was an amazing experience to be able to take what I do with music and apply it to fashion," said Whack in a statement. "Making music is all about collaboration and it was great to work with Shirley and with Vans to give people a collection they can feel free in."
