Just like many millennials, Victoria Beckham [3] will always have a place in her heart (and closet) for Posh Spice. Over the weekend, the fashion designer shared a mirror selfie paying tribute to her Spice Girls alias and her signature look [4], the little black dress, as well as the group's peace-sign pose. "Hoping you all have a spicy Saturday!!" Victoria captioned the post [5]. Several of Victoria's famous followers left their excitement in the comments, including her future daughter-in-law [6] Nicola Peltz, who simply wrote, "I love this."
Though her sleek style often overlaps with that of Posh Spice, Victoria has said that stepping into the pop-star persona wasn't necessarily a natural process [7]. "Did I have a perm that was slightly distasteful? Yes. Did I wear strange jeans? Yes. Did I look inappropriate ever? Not until the Spice Girls," she told British Vogue in 2017. "My mum would never let me go out dressed like that."
