Apple's big announcement on Sept. 7 brought with it many exciting improvements: The iPhone 7 [1]! AirPods [2]! New watches! Though not all of the releases were met with the same excitement, the latter will likely appeal to avid runners. The revamped Apple Watch Series 2 [3] will also include the Apple Watch Nike+ [4], which will help track your workouts, connect you with other runners, and keep you motivated along the way.
In addition to possessing Apple's signature sleek look, the Apple Watch Nike+ has a built-in GPS that tracks your pace, distance, and route — much like the Nike+ Run Club app. The watch can also connect you with your other friends on the app so that you can share your latest accomplishments, as well as celebrate them with a virtual "fist-bump." Another cool feature? The watch is capable of pulling up your running progress in those moments when you need motivational reminders most.
The Apple Watch Nike+ comes in four different designs, each ranging from $369 to $399. The watches will be available in late October, but you can preorder them starting on Sept. 9.
