Hi, I sent you an e-mail regarding this same topic, even though you gave me great advise, pilates classes are not offered in my gym. I try to do a lot of light weights, but its only building my middle back and not the sides. Its horrible, every time I wear a tank top or a semi-thight shirt the fat just stick its ugly face out. Please help me!! Im so desperate that im considering lipo! You will always get the Truth from me!

Is there anything like a 12-step program for working towards good posture? Everyday I have goals of maintaining good posture, even if it's just for 10 minutes every hour... but after 1 minute of sitting up straight, I forget what I'm doing.

Push-ups are great for your back! Also, I heard if you do them the "easy" way, on your knees rather than toes, this helps builds your abs. Rows are good too. Sit down on a bench with a dumbbell in each hand, arms extended at your sides, bend at the hips and pull your arms all the way up as you squeeze your back muscles. They start out easy but get tough!

I used to have major back fat, especially by my middle. I started running and it really helped. You are so right about burning more calories.
