- 4-5 large basil leaves
1/2 ounce agave nectar or simple syrup
3/4 ounce fresh lime juice
2 1/2 ounces shochu
- In a mixing glass or cocktail shaker, muddle the basil leaves with the sweetener of your choice.
- Fill glass three-quarters of the way with ice cubes. Add the alcohol and lime juice and shake well.
- Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with the remaining basil leaf.
