Battle Ropes Full-Body Workout

Don't Know How to Use the Battle Ropes? This Full-Body Workout Is a Great Intro

Out of all the weird contraptions at the gym, the battle ropes might be one of the most intimidating. If you've never used them before in a group fitness class or with a trainer, it's perfectly normal to have no idea what to do with them. But fitness influencer Emma, also known as emlouisefitness on Instagram, posted a video showing all us newbies how to use the battle ropes to get one step closer to that six-pack and those long, lean legs.

"This is one of my fave workouts cos it elevates your heart rate, hits a lot of muscles and only uses 1 piece of equip, easy," Emma wrote. Your abs and legs are going to be on fire after this. "In an attempt to increase my fitness levels ive been utilising more workouts like this recently and abso love it," she said.

Emma starts off with Russian twists and plank with arm slams, then she moves into squats and lunges. Just watching her do it makes our whole body burn. "You can do it as a workout on its own or as part of a workout/finisher," she added. Emma says she's been having "so much fun" doing these new kinds of workouts on her own. Having fun and sculpting your body? Sounds like a win to us.
