Confession: I hate running, or so I thought. After years of dreading any sort of run — and the physical pain that came with it — I forced myself to get over the hump by signing up for the Nike Women's Marathon with a group of friends. Every day I get more into running gear, and now I realize that all these years my shoes have done me wrong.
After being sent a pair of Brooks Adrenaline GTS 13 ($110) to test out, my bright and sleek minimal running shoes have started to collect dust. The second I hit the road in these, a smile appeared across my face. I feel stable and supported when running in my Brooks but still feel a connection to the road beneath me (minus the painful impact that used to come with every step). If you overpronate when you run or need extra arch support, I wholeheartedly recommend the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 13. It's been my go-to shoe for both short and long runs, and I can't wait to cross the finish line wearing them!
