Beyoncé Shared a New Video Documenting Her Weight-Loss Journey Ahead of Coachella

Intense isn't even the word to describe the diet Beyoncé followed in order to whip herself into shape ahead of last year's Coachella performance. On Wednesday, the mother of three shared a behind-the-scenes video that briefly follows her preperformance weight-loss journey.

At the beginning of the video, Beyoncé is seen weighing herself in her home before getting started on the first day of her diet. "I'm back on the stage after giving birth to twins," she says. "I was a woman who felt like my body was not mine."

The video promotes the plant-based diet that the singer strictly followed for just over a month before hitting the stage at Coachella. The 22 Days Nutrition Plan is basically a meal planner for customers interested in adopting a plant-based diet, and it includes grocery lists, recipe ideas, nutrition tips, and on-demand help from select food coaches. Though Bey mentions in her Netflix documentary, Homecoming, that she limited herself to "no bread, no carbs, no sugar, no dairy, no meat, no fish, no alcohol" to get to her target weight before her performance — on top of following the diet for twice the amount of time — it looks the 22 Days Nutrition Plan that she's giving fans access to is slightly less extreme.
