If you're vegan, love avocados [1], and/or just want to try something new, say hello to Cado [2]. The brand, which was founded in 2016 by a mother, daughter, and son in Iowa, sells soy-free, vegan, gluten-free, and nondairy avocado-based ice cream. As of now, there are only three flavors: Deep Dark Chocolate, a rich and creamy bittersweet chocolate; Simply Lemon, a zesty lemon with creamy avocado; and Mint Chocolate Chip, a fresh mint with dark chocolate chips. Is your mouth salivating yet?

"We want everybody to be eating avocado ice cream," Meghan Dowd, one of the founders, told POPSUGAR. "If you're going to eat ice cream, it can be delicious and nutritious. Cado is the best of both, and it doesn't taste like avocado."

Dowd also revealed four more flavors are currently in the works: Salted Caramel, Vanilla, Cherry Amaretto, and Java Chip. The ice cream is sold at bigger chain stores such as Whole Foods [3], ShopRite, The Fresh Market, and local health food stores too. It retails for $7-$8, depending on the location and store you're shopping in. If you haven't already put this on your shopping list, get on it!
