Yum! These Greek Yogurt Bars Taste Just Like Cheesecake and Have 8 Grams of Protein

Clio Snacks

If you would have told me that Greek yogurt and dark chocolate would make for a delicious snack, I'd more than likely argue with you. Instead, here I am telling you that it's a winning combination. The Clio Snacks Greek Yogurt Bars were recently put on my radar by the brand's PR team, and not going to lie, I was expecting them to be gross. I don't really like chocolate and I'm not a big fan of Greek yogurt — sounds like the perfect treat, right?

I decided to have a hazelnut bar after dinner — in place of my beloved cookie dough ice cream — and let me tell you, it was really good. The Greek yogurt was in a solid form but still light and fluffy, and the chocolate layer was surprisingly good. The best part: these bars literally taste just like cheesecake. If you asked me to do a blind taste test with cheesecake covered in chocolate and one of the bars, I'm not sure I'd be able to tell the difference between the two.

These cheesecake bars come in six flavors: strawberry, vanilla, honey, hazelnut, blueberry, and espresso. Try not to fall in love with all of them. Each bar contains eight grams of protein, with the exception of the hazelnut bar that has nine grams of protein. They're all 140 calories (the hazelnut bar is 150 calories), gluten-free, contain probiotics, and are made with whole milk Greek yogurt.

If you're thinking these bars are only limited to dessert, think again. You can have one for breakfast when you're on the go, eat one as a pick-me-up during the day, or as a sweet snack in place of carrots and hummus. Unlike yogurt, they can go without refrigeration for 12 hours — not like they'll even last that long in your bag! You can buy a 10-pack directly from the Clio Snacks website for $28. If you want them quicker, head on over to your local Whole Foods, Walmart, ShopRite, or Harris Teeter where you can buy them for around $1, but prices will vary.
