Complete This Sentence: When I Exercise I . . .

I work out regularly for my mind as much as my body. I need the stress relief. Even when my body doesn't respond well to things like sprinting, my brain is pleased with the distraction. I for one, thank my lucky stars that I made it to the gym. How would you finish this sentence?

...I feel awesome, and strong and accomplished. That is when I exercise, and it makes me wonder why I ever sometimes feel like putting it off, but I guess that was probably the point of this post.

Depends - my gym has TVs everywhere and if something boring or lame is on, I want to leave. If I like the show, I'm happy. Since I realized this I'm starting to work out around my favorite shows :)

I'm a clock watcher. All the time. On every machine and on the one on the wall. I'm usually supposed to be somewhere after the gym so need to keep an eye on it. I did start taking my iPhone and watching youtube videos on the unsecured wireless network they had though but now my gym membership is finished there!

Javs, I hear you ... I love a long run/ a long swim/ a long bike ride, but time on a cardio machine in the gym = blah! That said, "when I exercise, I ... feel strong, healthy, and beautiful!"

Depends on what I'm doing. If it's weightlifting then I challenge myself as much as possible. If it's cardio..well, I still challenge myself but I really can't wait to be out of there!

I think I have had days where each of those applies. Well, all except the I dont exercise. I have been watching tv shows recently on my nano. I think its a bad habit cause while time flies and I could do an hour and a half on the elliptical without looking at the clock, I also find I dont work quite as hard as when i work hard to music.

I depends on the day & the activity--sometimes it's a struggle & sometimes I'm in the groove. Sunday's 14 mile run was great and when I got to the turn around point I was totally surprised. But doing 30 minutes on the elliptical is usually torture--especially if I forget my ipod. If I'm really having a hard day motivation-wise, I usually go to a class.

When I exercise, I think about how fit and fabulous I will look, how great I'll feel afterwards and how nice it is to take some time to just think about nothing in particular, no music on, just me and my thoughts and the road. =)

It really depends what kind of mood I'm in. If I have a lot on my mind the time usually passes quickly. If I'm "blah" the time usually drags on, but I always push my way through it!

I said thank my lucky stars because...well I love to exercise when I'm at the gym/outside/wherever i work out. Getting there, however is the battle. I always make excuses. But, once I'm there, I enjoy it.
