Courteney Cox Refuses to Use a Body Double For Cougar Town

A Healthy Bite: Courteney Cox

"Some people may not want to show parts of them that are not the very best and that's all right. I decided to show, and I don't care. It was important to show the real side of being 40."

— Courteney Cox on refusing to use a body double for her role in Cougar Town. Wenn reports that Courteney, 45, wants to show the public what real women look like over 40: "I think it was an important thing to do. This show talks about real things and real experiences, so I think I had to. I know my friend Jennifer Aniston was shocked I did it."

I love he comment about Jennifer Aniston! And I love CC, and I bet she works very hard for her body, if you watch the show, you can see that, it is not all about money, hard work and money and her job are all a part of it.

Hmm. I don't think she represents the average 45-year old woman. Granted, she looks absolutely amazing, but I'm sure most people could when they had millions of dollars at their disposal. I really don't like it when celebrities do the whole 'I'm just like you' when it's their job to look fantastic. You're not just like us, you live in a whole different world to the average person.

EH. That would be a healthy quote if it didn't came from someone who frequently says she's a fan of botox bc she doesn't want to get old. Not that there's anything wrong with that from the moment you don't tell that to little kids, but it sounds a bit "healthy quote publicity" to say you don't like looking older year after year and add it's good to show people what being 40 actually looks like.
