Did You Get a Fitness Gift For Christmas?

Did You Get a Fitness Gift During the Holidays?

I love getting fitness gifts! New gear motivates me to exercise, especially when it's stylish workout clothing that speaks to my inner fitness fashionista. And while some people are sensitive about receiving fitness-themed gifts, most of you welcome them. While I didn't get any fitness gifts this holiday, I did spread the love to others; I gifted my Bikram-loving friend with a Manduka Black Mat, grabbed a cute workout tank from Zobha for my roommate, and spoiled the mister with rock climbing gear, wool wicking socks, and a Patagonia jacket. I'm happy to report that they were all stoked on the bounty they received!

Did you get any gifts this year that have you pumped to sweat, strength train, or say "namaste"? Tell us what fitness gifts you received in the comments section below.

I got a puppy...I think it counts as a fitness gift:) Now instead of sitting on my couch at night, we are taking long walks!

I got a new yoga mat and some awesome water bottles called Bobble. They filter as you drink instead of going in and are only about $10. Pretty awesome.

I love fitness gifts but that is because I ask for them and use them! However, I do not get them for family/friends unless they ask, otherwise they do take offense. This year my sister got me this really cool extreme fitness game you hook up to the TV. It's the equivalent of a low budget Wii. Cant wait to use it! :-)

My sister got me new workout gear and yoga pants! Mom got me Reebok easy tones, but I think one of the shoes is defective. :(

sadly i didn't get one myself but i got my mum one - somewhere in the process (because there was a fitness disk with her gift showing a woman on a treadmill) she came under the impression that i'd also bought her a treadmill. sorry mum, don't have that kind of $$ yet! maybe next christmas!

Got a Garmin Forerunner from the hubs - Can't wait to track my long runs in excruciating detail! Also - a fitness gift to someone who wants it is not a way to call them fat!

Sort of. I bought myself a late Christmas gift with some of the money I got. I bought an aerobics step and a workout outfit. It should be here in time for New Years, which is great because my resolution is to start working out more. I've been slacking. I took aerobics class in high school for 2 years, and I've really missed it. It was the most enjoyable class I've ever taken. That was almost 5 years ago, so I'm really ready to jump back into it.

Everyone in my family got fitness-related gifts: a vest and earwarmer for walking for mom, underarmor for dad, yoga mat for me, and golf lessons for my sister!

I always love a general fitness gift, but I didn't get any this year. I can always use cool running socks, songs for the iPod, or something like that. I think I'm going to have to buy myself a new food scale on my own!

I wouldn't want to receive something a fitness gift that I didn't already say I wanted! Although most of my family knows I'm more into being healthy than they are, they tend to just make candy and cookies for presents for Christmas. No one has much money these days. But I don't blame them, I did the same thing!
