Do You Wear Jewelry When Working Out?

I rarely take off my wedding rings, so when I go for a swim, they come along for the ride. Other than my rings, I don't wear much jewelry when working out. I know some women fear losing their jewelry at the gym, while others like a little bling to feel more feminine while exercising. Where do you stand?

I take everything off.

I keep my wedding band on. I used to take it off until my husband oh-so-subtly pointed out that he NEVER takes his off so now I keep it on. Engagement ring comes off though, no need for that to be at the gym.

I leave on the jewelry that I wear all day every day, but if I had added a bracelet or a big necklace or something I would take it off.

I only ever wear my necklace and that doesn't come off for anything!

My rings stay on, except when I do weights. When I do weights, the rings come off, and the training gloves come on.

None at the gym, but I still wear earrings on a hike or walk!

I have a pair of diamond studs that I keep in almost all the time, so those stay in as well as my wedding/engagement rings. I also like to keep my sport watch on, but I don't count that as jewelry. I see women at work that work out with big hoop earrings and necklaces on. I can't even imagine how annoying that would be for me, but it doesn't seem to bother some people I guess.

All jewelry - off. I don't want to get anything sweaty! And the underside of rings can get damaged from lifting weights. The closest I come to wearing "jewelry" when I work out is my heart rate monitor!

I take my jewelry off. If I was married, I would leave my wedding band on though.

I take my wedding rings and bracelets off, but my earrings only come off before I go to bed (diamond studs)

I have two rings that I never take off, so they stay on, but other than that I don't wear any jewelry. I feel like it would get in the way.

I even take off my wedding ring, hate the sweaty hands.

My wedding rings are the only jewelry I leave on ... I don't wear much jewelry anyway so there isn't really anything to take off the majority of the time.

I generally don't wear much jewelry, but it all comes off when I'm working out. The rings do get in the way during strength training and necklaces get wrapped up in my headphones, plus I get really sweaty and that's not good for jewelry. So my car has a center console full of it. :)

I wear my rings and a necklace, all of which are my normal day-to-day jewelry. Anything in addition to that I only wear when going out, so they come off when I'm changing for the gym anyway.

All jewelry comes off except the nose stud. Even my engagment ring. I take it off at home and put them back on after the gym. I lost a small diamond necklace at the gym and have regretted wearing jewelry there since. Besides, the jewelry gets uncomfortable especially during weights and cardio.

I don't wear much jewlery to begin with but I would never wear any to the gym, that would be strange to me. Rings would get in the way when lifting weights and necklaces would get entirely too sweaty. I can see why stud earings wouldnt really get in the way but I would feel silly wearing them. To me it is the same as women who work out with their hair down. How does that not bother them?? To each her own though!

I take off all my jewelry, including my wedding rings. They get uncomfortable if I'm weight-training and my fingers swell when I do cardio.

My engagement ring and small stud-like earrings most of the time. But rarely I will keep my necklace on as well (if I forget to take if off before heading to the gym).

The only jewelry I leave on are my earrings, or rather just the post earrings. Any more jewelry than that feels weird.
