Find Ski Conditions Across the Country

Know Snow Conditions for Trails Nationwide

Nothing is worse than getting all geared up for a fun day of cross country skiing or snowshoeing only to find out there are hardly any trails with snow on them. Spare yourself the heartache by checking current snow conditions before you go. All you have to do is search by region or state/province and you'll get current snow conditions for any resort or trail system in the U.S. and Canada! Pretty cool, eh? So if you're going to be hitting the trails alone or with your honey, be sure to check it out here.

Happy skiing or snowshoeing!

You should also check the avalanche conditions before you go too. If you're not trained on avalanche survival, then you should stay out of the backcountry. One site is http://avalanche.org/ This season has been pretty bad so far - there have been 26 fatalities in North America.
