While yeasty breads have a knack for doubling the size of our stomachs, certain whole grains and pseudograins — like quinoa, brown rice, and kamut — do quite the opposite. Whole grains are high in insoluble fiber, which helps keep the body's digestive system regular, preventing bloating and constipation. Quinoa, in particular, is a good source of potassium, which has also been shown to prevent the bloat.
