Get Motivated: He Lost Hundreds!

I am always absolutely amazed with major weight loss, especially when it's been done with diet and exercise (rather than surgery). Here is an amazing story of a man who has lost hundreds of pounds (literally) with the help of a good friend, a good diet, a little bit of exercise and a lot of motivation.

Please know that there are parts of the video that are a bit hard to watch, so if you're easily offended then I recommend not watching.

Now if that doesn't give you the extra motivation to head to the gym today, I don't know what does. Besides, it kind of makes those last ten pounds you're struggling with seem like less of a big deal, doesn't it?

I agree with what a lot of people are really puts weight loss into perspective. 20 pounds seems like an easy task when you compare it to 100+ pounds.

Wow! He lost that weight in 22 months too. Amazing! I hope he can raise enough money to get the surgery.

That is absolutely amazing and inspiring!!! Makes me want to work that much harder to drop my stupid 8 vanity pounds! I really hope those people in Arizona were inspired by his story so that he'd receive donations to get the surgery to remove his excess skin. That guy is fantastic!

even though he is close to 300 lbs, he definitely had at least 50 lbs of excess skin, so once he has that removed, he'll be a lot lighter.

i hated how the woman kept going "uh" between a lot of her words haha...and yeah, that skin was pretty gross, but it's much better than being over 600 pounds! you probably won't get a heart condition from having flabby skin! but he's still over 200 pounds, near 300, right? which is still pretty overweight. but a much better improvement and quite a motivation.

He also looks like 15 years younger! That's amazing! I knew that the skin thing happened to people who had gastric bypass and others who lose weight TOO quickly on drastic diets, since the skin doesnt have time to adjust. But I thought that if it was done in a slow and healthy way that the skin would adjust, like after a pregnancy. There are things you can do whilst losing the weight so that it doesn't happen (lots of moisturizer, etc) but after the fact i guess the only option is surgery. . .

WOW. He looks great! It's amazing what being overweight can do to a person. It's nice to see someone lose so much weight the "old-fashioned" way, without just going and having surgery!

he looks quite young, actually - did anyone catch his age? this is an incredible story.

Good for him. I can't imagine what it took -- mentally-- for him to stop killing himself with all that horrible food on a daily basis. I love my treats, but I'm fortunate that they haven't gotten the best of me...

Good for him! He looks like a totally different person (a lot younger too)!!! I don't think there is anything he can do naturally about his skin, I knew a guy who had gastric bypass, lost a ton of weight and ended up having major plastic surgery because of loose skin, there was no other way, unfortunately. He still looks great though!

Somebody needs to call Oprah. Doesn't she love this kind of feel good stuff? She'd help him.

Is there a way to do this W/O surgery? Gotta be a way to remove skin w/o surgery is what I'm saying.
