Hearty Lima-Lentil Soup


  1. 2 cups presoaked green lentils
  2. 1/2 cup presoaked lima beans
  3. 1 small white onion, diced
  4. 10-15 whole cherry tomatoes
  5. 1 large carrot, sliced
  6. 3 celery stalks, sliced
  7. 1-2 small serrano chili peppers, chopped
  8. 2 small garlic cloves, minced
  9. 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  10. 1 dash of Bragg Organic Sea Kelp Delight Seasoning (can substitute with salt and pepper)
  11. 1 teaspoon of curry
  12. 3-5 tablespoons of Bragg Liquid Aminos
  13. 6-8 cups alkalized water
  14. Parsley or fresh dill for garnish


  1. Combine all ingredients into a crock pot and add enough water to cover everything in the pot. Cover and cook on low heat for 10-12 hours, checking on it every few hours. If necessary, add more water while cooking.
  2. Garnish each bowl with fresh parsley or dill.

Makes four servings.
