This is a nutritious and hearty recipe for chilly winter days or evenings. Good for the body, and warm for the soul.

- 2 cups presoaked green lentils
1/2 cup presoaked lima beans
1 small white onion, diced
10-15 whole cherry tomatoes
1 large carrot, sliced
3 celery stalks, sliced
1-2 small serrano chili peppers, chopped
2 small garlic cloves, minced
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 dash of Bragg Organic Sea Kelp Delight Seasoning (can substitute with salt and pepper)
1 teaspoon of curry
3-5 tablespoons of Bragg Liquid Aminos
6-8 cups alkalized water
Parsley or fresh dill for garnish
- Combine all ingredients into a crock pot and add enough water to cover everything in the pot. Cover and cook on low heat for 10-12 hours, checking on it every few hours. If necessary, add more water while cooking.
- Garnish each bowl with fresh parsley or dill.
Makes four servings.
