Healthy Turtle Walnut Clusters Recipe

A Reader Recipe: No-Bake Chocolate Nut Clusters

If the thought of another fun-size piece of candy isn't appealing to you, whip up a batch of these no-bake chocolate clusters, which reader JuicyNoelle shared in our Healthy Recipe group.

no bake chocolate nut clusters

In these No Bake Chocolate Nut Clusters I used a high quality cocoa and some walnuts to recreate a childhood favorite of mine (rich, caramel turtle clusters). I hope you enjoy their simplicity as much as I do.

Read the recipe after the break.

No Bake Chocolate Nut Clusters
Serving Size: 10 small clusters (70 calories/piece)

Slightly less than 1/2 cup large walnut pieces, shelled
2 ounces good quality (60%+ cocoa) semi-sweet chocolate, finely chopped
2 ounces good quality bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon ground coffee (optional)

Once you have the ingredients, it's so simple: just pour melted chocolate over your walnut clusters and set in the fridge. Check out JuicyNoelle's blog GreenLemonade for directions, and don't forget to share your own healthy recipes in our Healthy Recipe group. Happy snacking!
