Oh man, what's not to love about Beyoncé? She's a talented actress, has a curvy body we love, and has a knack for delivering some of the best music to work out to. We're excited that Beyoncé is leading the pack in Grammy nominations and can't wait to see her on the red carpet! In our last installment of Get the Bod, Grammys edition, we'll be taking a look at what Jay-Z's girl does to stay fit and healthy, and how she'll most likely be preparing for her big night out.

At the core of Beyoncé's workout regimen is trainer Marco Borges's Power Moves system. The concept is that you work several muscle groups at once, doing exercises like reverse lunge presses, dumbbell front squats, and jumping lunges. Borges revealed that to get Beyoncé in shape for her Summer tour, the singer did "interval training — 45 minutes of alternating between sprinting and running on the treadmill, followed by body-resistance work." During the tour, Beyoncé did yoga and Pilates for an hour on show days and body-resistance exercises on days when she’s not performing.

Beyoncé admits that staying fit is hard work and that although it involves a disciplined diet and rigorous fitness routine, the true motivation comes from within.

"The truth is, it's a lot of sacrifice. It's more about your mental strength than physical strength. You have to push yourself. It doesn't matter what trainer you have. And it doesn't matter what program you're on. You have to be healthy and make the right choices."

With her tour over, the star continues to focus on cardio — running up to six miles a day — and strength training. She also sticks to a sensible 1,600-calorie diet of lean protein and healthy carbs. As for the night of the Grammys, we won't be surprised if Ms. Knowles will be doing this preparty body blasting workout designed by Borges.

i saw jessica simpson once (during one of her "fat" eras) and she was TINY. when you are constantly in the public eye, you have a higher chance of somebody taking a unflattering picture of you.

@gingerish, wow that is crazy, because she says she lost 20lbs for Dreamgirls, must of just lost 20lbs of muscle... I figured she probably looked smaller than she looks in pictures but dang, I wonder what the other stars look like in person...

errr I agree that she tends to yo-yo off the chain. I'm surprised she still that curvy with only eating 1600 calories with excersising that much, plus the cardio her shows give her...

I agree that Beyonce yo-yos (compare single ladies video to sweet dreams video) a bit but to say she gets unrecognizably big, is just silly.

I believe her. You really do have to push your self. This is what I do when I go to the gym. It's not something I ever enjoy but I do it. I just can't push myself to eat only 1600 calories a day.

Autumns Elegy - I know most women have cellulite but we are not up there as media fodder....that's the difference. She looks great! Size 14?? Wow! She looks darn good. I am glad she's keeping it real as most women are a 12 or 14 (even though I am an 18 trying to get to the 14 and then to the 12)

Natasha1970, most women have cellulite. I'm 20 and I have an orange peel bum. :p No biggie, most of us have it, so if someone comments on it I just tell them to find me an everyday gal who doesn't have it. But you're right, she does look great. Apparently she's a size 14, she doesn't look it.

She looks great!! However I did read on one of the Celebrity sites that she's riddled with cellulite:) In fact they used the pic in that red get up to substantiate their evidence...ah well...Beyonce still looks great.

I take what celebs say with a grain of salt, but if you look at her body you can tell she works hard for it. She isn't eating disorder thin, she's fit.

I'm not a huge fan of Beyonce's fitness philosophy either. She definitely yoyos around a lot and when she isn't working hard for a role, she doesn't eat the most healthy diet.

Whatever. Beyonce (much like Janet Jackson) yo-yos up and down when it comes to her weight and fitness. She gets in shape for her tour, but when it's over, so is her commitment to fitness. During her off-tour season, she's practically unrecognizable, as she lets herself go. JMHO.

She's truly an inspiration, as you can see she has to work really hard to get that bod. There are a lot of celebs that are naturally thin, but Beyonce doesn't seem to be one of them. Her will power is definitely admirable.
